Pulsite

Pulsite is a mixture of several minerals including Copper, Silver, Nickel, Pyrite, Zinc, Iron and Manganese. Pulsite is not considered a valid mineral species but a mixture, or alloy-like coumpound. It is found in Oregon and named after Jim Puls, the miner that discovered it. Pulsite is associated with Manganese and can be made into cabochons. The contrast of the bright metallic mixture against the background of black Manganese is very attractive.
